If you are planning on getting married soon, then the last thing you want is to look like a big white marshmallow in your wedding dress. You don't want your guests to get hungry before the reception, and your wedding pictures are going to last for the rest of your life. Perhaps the best way to prevent a tragedy like this from happening is to put together and follow a wedding fitness plan. You'll be able to look great for your wedding and it certainly won't hurt your overall health. Let's take a look at how we might construct such a plan.

Fat Loss

If you want to lose fat so that you can fit into your wedding dress, then it is time to get serious about losing fat. It's a fantasy to believe that you can lose belly fat by doing sit-ups or by wearing some sort of electronic gadget. You probably stopped believing long ago that babies are delivered by storks, so why do you believe this nonsense about losing fat? After your wedding you can go back to wearing your electronic belt while you watch television, but that's not going to fly in the months leading up to your wedding.

The good news is that it isn't really difficult to lose weight. You just need to burn calories by moving a lot. Perhaps the easiest way to do this is by taking long walks. If you can take an hour-long walk every day until your wedding, then it is practically guaranteed that your entire body will be more firm and will have less fat. If walking is too difficult for you, then there is practically no hope for you to succeed in any wedding fitness plan.

Extra Tone

Although it may depend on your wedding dress, there is a high likelihood that your arms and shoulders will be the skin that is most exposed and visible to everyone. Whats the point of toning your calves when no one is going to see them or care? To get the most bang for your fitness buck, you should concentrate on toning up your arms, shoulders, and upper back.

All you really need is a small dumbbell. You don't want to use heavy weights unless you want to look like some sort of weird female bodybuilder. A 2 or 3 pound dumbbell will do the trick. Everyday, do curls with the dumbbell until your bicep is tired. This will vary depending on your current strength, but you should be able to do a few more each day.

To strengthen your shoulders and triceps, simply do some push-ups each day. If you aren't strong enough to do a "real" push up, simply put your weight on your knees and do push ups that way. Again, you should be able to do a little more each day.

Putting together an effective wedding fitness plan isn't rocket science, and there's not even any need to sweat a lot. Just go for a walk every day, do some curls everyday, and do some push-ups everyday, and you're practically guaranteed to look great on your wedding day.
